KALE organises and coordinates a range of opportunities for education leaders to come together through networks and events.
All KALE events and networks are:
peer-led - colleagues sharing insights and experiences with each other
thematic – focused on a theme or topic that leaders have said is important or challenging
supportive – take account of the well-being of leaders
non-judgemental – enabling colleagues to share their concerns in a non-judgemental environment
low-cost or no-cost – using school venues or online delivery to reduce any barriers to access
evidence-informed – sharing ‘what works’ from research and practice, and enabling leaders to consider how they might apply these approaches in their own schools
Events range from our large annual in-person conference, to smaller events and webinars initiated in response to themes where leaders want to talk together about a topic.
Thematic Networks
The development of thematic networks is a priority for 2023/24. Leaders have identified a number of themes around which in-person and online networks will be development. Please take a look at the upcoming networks here
