Welcome from the North Area Board Chair

The North board are passionate about using collaboration to ensure the best possible life chances for all young people in our area. We are committed to supporting Headteachers in achieving this through fostering useful and productive cross school working alongside high quality professional development across the north of Kent. We recognise that KALE can make a real difference through supporting Headteachers to tackle the most importance issues facing schools today.
Our leadership development programmes and peer support initiatives have supported an increase in the number of schools moving to good and we hope to see the impact of even more moving to outstanding provision over the coming years.
This year we will be working on some of the most pertinent issues such as attendance, parental engagement, Staff (including Headteacher!) wellbeing and raising attainment in a post pandemic environment.
